| "Hands on Clay" Complete Experience
Duration: 2.5 hours  Max. Nr. of Participants: 4  Minimum Age: 10 | |
|
This is THE workshop for those curious about the wheel who are also interested in completing a clay
project. You will receive instruction in both hand-building and wheel-throwing. You will then choose
to complete one of 3 different hand-building projects. Alternatively, you can spend the entire time on
the wheel and choose to keep one favorite creation. A variety of sprigs, stamps and under-glazes are
available for you to decorate your work.
After you leave, your clay masterpiece will be carefully dried and fired. Please note that the firing
process puts stress on the clay and while we take every possible care, we cannot guarantee that your
piece will survive the firing process unscathed.
Finished work is usually fired within 4-6 weeks and will then be available for pickup or can be shipped
to you at home via USPS Priority Mail (shipping charges extra, typically $10-$15 per shipping address).
